Great views of the bay bridge, impeccable service and happy hour oysters. One of my favorite new finds! We also got the ceviche and fries & aioli which were the best :) I can't wait to go back!!

Came here for their daily happy hour and oysters! $1.55 oysters and happy hour drinks. I got the blood orange spritz, oysters and fries to share with some friends! A nice vibe but come early to get outdoor seating especially on a nice day! It was a bit cramped indoors but I'd visit again and try to sit outside!

The oyster special is an incredible deal! Fresh and delicious oysters. I also enjoyed the crudo dish with a coconut milk broth. The basil ice-cream is homemade and delicious. The views for outdoor dining are wonderful with fresh air, but beware of long lines during happy hour (there is no waitlist, you just have to physically wait outside). Fantastic sweeping view of the bay bridge.

I have been to Waterbar and its partner restaurant next door - Epic a few times as both have beautiful bay views and outdoor dining!! We sat on the outdoor patio and though it was a cool night, the heat lamps made it very comfortable! Our waiter was nice enough but not particularly friendly or conversational but service was fast and professional. We shared with some drinks and their clam chowder which was delicious ! It had a little chili sauce which added some heat but just the right amount! It was my favorite dish of the night especially accompanied by their Sourdough bread! Then we had their Hamachi sashimi which was great, grilled oysters which were good, ahi tuna ceviche which was excellent and the crispy squid! We ended with a rhubarb crisp with basil sorbet which was really good! One thing which was a little surprising was for a higher end restaurant, their bathrooms were terrible! The trash can was overflowing with paper all over the floor and it needed a good clean! It looked as though jt had not been cleaned that day as the restaurant was not particularly full! Like this place but their sister property next door is better!

Came for the $1.55 oysters and happy hour - they have a good selection of drinks and bites. We did 4-5 rounds of oysters and they were the delicious. They change up the types and this time we got the big, meaty ones that were super fresh! We also got some fries, charcuterie and cheese boards and baked clams. It was all delicious! The happy hour drinks were also great $8 wines with a nice sauv and red

Vibess!!! Gosh I freaking loved this place. One of my favorite spots for happy hour in the bay, and the best deal in my opinion. Water Bar marries culinary excellence with breathtaking views. On my last visit and during their renowned happy hour, we indulged in an array of delectable appetizers that didn't break the bank. The $1.55 oysters steal the show, accompanied by a heavenly hibiscus apple mignonette that will leave your taste buds salivating for more. The freshness and quality of the seafood really stood out to me and I'm so happy most of it is locally sourced. Their other appetizers were a big hit too! The French fries were perfectly cooked to golden perfection, and for an extra fee they will come paired with a rich truffle aioli. The marinated olives offer just the right balance of saltiness to tantalize your palate. The ahi tuna tataki is a must-try. Served with crispy rice, ginger, and cucumber, all enveloped in a delectable sesame sauce, it's a flavor explosion that leaves you craving more. I guess the only dish I wasn't too keen on were the steak bites. They were tiny and I didn't appreciate how they were drenched in a sweet marinade. I am a seafood lover though so maybe I was just distracted. the attentive service, happy hour menu, and the inviting atmosphere makes Water Bar a true gem in the heart of the city.

A good deal on oysters during happy hour, which includes weekends. On our recent visit we came around 4pm on a Saturday and we managed to score a table outside with a view of the Bay Bridge. It was a great spot until I started to smell dog urine as I was sitting right next to the bushes. Be aware of that. Service was great. We didn't have to wait long to get the attention of our waiter. You are allowed 2 dozen oysters at a time. They were really fresh and really good. We ordered a total of 4 dozens. The fries here are okay, a little crispy and a little limpy. Tastes better with the aioli. The toast that came with the charcuterie could be toasted a bit longer. It was soft. My least favorite was the baby shrimp salad. A friend at our table ordered it. Shrimp didn't taste good but the charred Romain lettuce was better.

The fellas hooked up for a dinner and the Waterbar was our restaurant for the evening. It's right along the shoreline of the Bay so its location was really nice. The inside of the restaurant is kind of small so probably not conducive to a party over 7 as we had, but they made it work. They do have a large fish tank in the inside which is probably really cool to look at but since my back was to it I only saw it walking in and out. The service was really good one waiter held us down and he did a great job. I had the baked oysters as an appetizer and they were pretty good. But since I had just been in New Orleans a few weeks ago I had N.O. in my mind but they couldn't compare. For my entree I had the beef short rib it was fork tender and full of flavor, it came with potato fingerlings and like grilled lettuce with a good vinaigrette drizzle, top notch meal. One of my buddies had some caviar and I must say it was pretty tasty! Others had the halibut which looked really good, and another had the whole black bass which was really good also. And as a side the french fries I think were fried in beef fat which made them taste REALLY good! Overall experience I give it a 10!!

Came here for a little date night, and it was such a wonderful experience. The view here is almost unbeatable with the water and the bridge. The food here is quite pricey, but they do it justice. We started with the Ahi Tuna Tataki and the Rapini & Brussels Sprouts Salad. The Ahi was such a good bite, though I was expecting the rice to be crispier. The salad was refreshing and light, and I loved the balance of sweet and savory in this. For mains, I got the Ora King Salmon, and my boyfriend got the special of evening, which was a Steak with a Seafood Risotto. The salmon was hands down one of the best I've ever had. It was soft and perfectly cooked but had a crispy top to it, and the sauce really pulled it together. The steak special was also very good -- I personally really liked the risotto in this one. We also got a bottle of wine, and ended the night with their Apple Crumble dessert. This was divine. We also got some complimentary brownie bites with our dessert, which was so nice of the staff here. Our server was the sweetest and the ambience here is immaculate. Definitely a solid spot for a date or a more refined gathering :-).
